Effective date: 16 June 2025

Flow Piano (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website flowpiano.com.au and related services. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, including Google user data, when you use our website and application.

1. What Information We Collect

  • Google Calendar Data: If you sign in with Google, we may request access to your Google Calendar in order to display, create, edit, or delete events on your behalf. This includes your calendar events, event titles, times, descriptions, and related metadata.
  • Account & Contact Info: We collect information you provide when signing up, such as your name, email address, and piano technician profile details.
  • Usage Data: We collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, and activity logs for security and support.

2. How We Use Google User Data

  • To let piano technicians sync their availability and manage bookings using their Google Calendar.
  • To read, create, update, and delete events in your Google Calendar with your explicit permission, solely for providing calendar management features.
  • Public Display of Availability: If you are a piano technician, your calendar availability (free/busy time slots, not detailed event information) will be displayed publicly on Flow Piano so that any customer can view your available times and book an appointment with you. Your private event details are never shown to the public.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

  • Storage: Your Google OAuth tokens are securely stored in our database and are encrypted both in transit and at rest.
  • Security: We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS, firewalls, and access controls.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do not sell or rent your data.
  • We never share Google user data with third parties except as required to provide our calendar management features, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for purposes other than providing or improving your application’s functionality.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
  • You can revoke our access to your Google data at any time from your Google account’s permissions page.
  • If you wish to delete your account or any associated data, please contact us at [email protected]. We will promptly delete your data, including any Google user data stored.
